Lands’ End Catalog-Apparel For Plus, Petite, Tall Women & Men & Children

Wednesday, July 11th, 2007

This is one of my favorite catalogs and when I receive one in the mail I look it over from cover to cover.  The size range of Lands’ End clothing is phenomenal – providing women’s misses, large/plus, petites, or tall.  There is men’s clothing as well as children’s apparel.  The quality and workmanship of Lands’ End clothing is fabulous and the fabrics are top-quality cottons, cashmere, etc.

One of the best features of Land’ End clothing is their offer of free hemming on all their pants.  To be able to get a pair of women’s pants hemmed to exactly the length you want is a rare find in catalog shopping.  Another great feature is being able to find a swimsuit year-round.  So if you are going on vacation or do water exercises in a pool you won’t be stuck in the dead of winter not being able to find a swimsuit.  Many of the swimsuits are two-pieces so it’s easy to purchase a different size for the top or the bottom if needed.  All the styles are cute and the latest fashion.  There’s a style of swimsuit for every body shape.

The summer catalog is loaded with ladies’, men’s, and some children’s sandals as well as water and beach shoes.  When the fall catalog comes along it will be full of all-weather types of shoes great for hiking or for rainy/snowy days.  I don’t think you can find shoes of such fine quality for these kinds of prices anywhere else.   Lands’ End fall catalog will also carry a full line of outerwear and beautiful cotton and cashmere sweaters.  For the price, quality, and range of sizes for casual, functional merchandise this is a wonderful catalog to shop from.

Just My Size Catalog for Women’s Apparel Sizes 14W and Up

Tuesday, July 3rd, 2007

If you wear a plus size, this is another great catalog to have in your arsenal of places to shop.  They carry all sorts of women’s clothing, but really specialize in bras and panties and shaping garments.  They also have a full line of hosiery.  Besides carrying their own label (jms), they also offer many name brands such as Playtex, Glamorise, Goddess, and Valmont.  It is often difficult to find undergarments in large sizes, but this catalog offers plenty.  There is also a nice line of swimsuits available.

Another thing to note is that the prices of the items in this catalog are very reasonable.  Usually a lot less than other places.  You will find active wear and exercise clothing in the jms label as well as by Champion.  For tops, pants, capri’s, shorts, dresses, skirts, slips, camisoles, and jackets and sweaters suited for work or casual wear, give this catalog a try.  I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

There is usually a clearance section in each catalog with items offered up to 51% off the original prices.

Highlights For Children Spring Issue And Toy Catalog

Monday, July 2nd, 2007

Highlights for Children catalog is a great magazine. Just loaded with things to do. When the kids get bored with nothing to do these books will come in handy. The copy I have here has those ” What’s wrong pictures” and many stories and projects to do. They even have a lessons on how to play the spoons. Now that is an old craft.

I also have a copy of the latest toy catalog. That is full of wonderful toys. Many of them I’m sure would keep a child busy for a long time. My grand-daughters just love looking at the book. They have robots to build, Erector Sets ( Yes, they still make them ) hey how about your own flying saucer that really flies, a great set of spin art, and a magic set. The list goes on and on.

Visit Highlights and send for a catalog and see for yourself what they have to offer. My children are all grown and married but when they were young we bought them Highlights. It has been around for over 60 years it has to be good. It’s a real good magazine and you won’t be sorry. Click the link above and go right to their website.
